¹⁹ with a human face looking^[a] toward the palm tree on one side and a young lion’s face looking^[b] toward the palm tree on the other side. These carvings extended all the way around the Temple, ²⁰ from the ground to above the doorway, as well as on the walls of the main sanctuary.

²¹ The door posts of the main sanctuary were square. Each door post was identical in appearance to the others.
